    Through planned leasing efforts, the leasing agent shall attract and register any prospects interested in leasing space. The agent then handles all lease negotiations in accordance with guidelines set by the Owner. If successfully negotiated, leases are recommended to the Owner for approval. Leasing also encompasses the following:

  • Review the immediate market competition and evaluate the property's position and competitiveness. Recommend rental rate adjustments.
  • Develop, implement and maintain an effective leasing program for the property. This program must encompass both direct leasing activity as well as coordination and involvement by outside firms engaged in leasing activity.
  • Provide market data regarding the supply and absorption of competing leasable space.
  • Conduct annual market surveys and analysis in order to assure that the property is competitive in the marketplace and is achieving maximum rental income.
  • Coordinate prospective tenant support services such as space planning.
  • Actively pursue renewal of tenant leases and tenant retention programs
  • Prepare advertisements and other promotional materials, as necessary.
